How to Find Joy During the Holidays (Even If You're Busy)
The holidays are here, and it can be hard to find joy amidst all the hustle and bustle of gift-buying, party-planning, and end-of-year deadlines. Don't worry! There are ways to enjoy this season without sacrificing your sanity. Gosh for me, I'm finding it in the most unlikely place! The elf on the shelf. AHH yes I said it.  We usually really dread it but Natalie insisted on getting a second one that she paid for! Let me tell you.  2 elves are way better than one. If your elf game has been stagnant go get you a second one! We got ours at CVS for $30+ tax but you can get them on Amazon and save the trip out in the cold. Ho ho ho ho!

Here are three other tips for how busy women can still find joy in even the craziest of holiday seasons.

Take Time Out for Self Care
The holiday season is a great time to focus on self care. Taking just a few minutes each day for yourself can help you stay centered and balanced. Take a long bubble bath, go for a walk outside, or read your favorite book. Whatever it is that helps you relax, make sure to take some time out for yourself during this busy season!

Don't Get Caught Up in Perfectionism
It's easy to get caught up in the idea that everything has to be perfect during the holidays—the gifts have to be wrapped perfectly; the decorations have to look just right; and the meals have to be delicious. But don't forget what this season is really about: spending quality time with those you love most! Don’t let perfectionism steal away your joy — instead, focus on what matters most.

Embrace What Makes You Happy
What brings you true happiness? Is it baking cookies with family? Is it going ice skating with friends? Is it visiting an elderly relative? Whatever activities make you happy should be embraced during this special time of year! Make sure to fill your schedule with things that bring you joy — don’t let anything else get in your way.

 Remember to claim your joys!
